In Osaka, Japan now!

I made it to Osaka, Japan last night at 9:30 PM. First order of business was to collect my luggage, go through customs, and eat some tuna sushi! I'm glad I did as it hit the spot. I unsuccessfully managed to walk to Exit 31 at Namba Station, which seemed like a mile, lugging four bags equaling well over 70 lbs, only to discover that Exit 7 would put me a two minute walk from my current location, the Capsule Motel.

I've got some things to follow up on... I'll keep you all posted.

Cheers,

Nam Tasa

To get to the Capsule Hotel take Exit 7, walk straight, turn left on the first street by the shoe store, go two blocks, turn left, it's on your left. After you make the first left if you hit exit 31 on the big road your a block too far, but from exit 31 if you turn right on the big road you will find Little Long Beach Bar. It is owned by an expat from California. He is quite hospitable and fluent in Japanese. He is a good resource for newbies to Osaka and can hook you up with great information. Buy him a drink and buy yourself one too. Its good practice.
