Samsung SPH-W2500 WCDMA World Phone

OK, Here it is... A picture of my new Samsung SPH-W2500 WCDMA mobile phone. This baby comes with a 2.0 megapixel camera, video, 42MB internal storage, 1GB external Scandisk storage, MP3 Player, Movie Player, MS Word, MS Excel, Adobe Acrobat Reader, Operates on CDMA/HSDPA Broadband Service, and is compatible with GSM 900/1800/1900/850 SIM chips so it really is meant to be the last phone one will own. It is a slider too!

Make sure the phone is unlocked for us in the USA. Each phone company here uses a set freq. If you are to use this phone here make sure it's unlocked. I believe its just a simple code you punch in.

When you buy phones overseas they normally come unlocked. I have purchased at least four overseas and used them immediately upon arriving in the states with no ill effects. I am still wondering though if I will be able to put in an AT&T/Cingular SIM card into the slot ad have it work on their GSM network. Currently the phone is only available in Korea and is not supported by Samsung in the US yet.
